Women film students talk about the barriers they face when trying to enter a male-dominated industry.

Rucha&nbsp;Chitnis&nbsp;is a photojournalist, writer, and filmmaker whose stories highlight the power and agency of women and frontline communities rising and raising their voices.&nbsp;Her work&nbsp;evinces hope and resilience in the face of an ethnocentric lens that often erases and dehumanizes communities of color.&nbsp;&nbsp; Consuelo G. Flores&nbsp;is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, writer, and playwright.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was most recently the Director of Policy Strategy &amp; Analysis in the Equity &amp; Inclusion Department at SAG-AFTRA and has worked promoting diversity at film and writer’s organizations for 20 years. Debbe Goldstein&nbsp;is the owner of ArtRep-dg.com, an online art gallery. She has made a career of supporting, advocating for and hiring artists.&nbsp;Debbe is the former head of Animation Recruitment at Dreamworks SKG and a former art history instructor at Art Center College of Design.&nbsp; Kavery Kaul&nbsp;is an award-winning filmmaker whose works have been featured at festival and museums around the globe and on PBS-TV. Kavery has been awarded a Fulbright and a Logan Fellowship. As a TEDx Talk speaker, she addresses the power of storytelling as a way to connect people.&nbsp; Jennifer McCabe&nbsp;is director and&nbsp;chief&nbsp;curator of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, a position she previously held at the Museum&nbsp;of Craft and Folk Art in San Francisco.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her curatorial practice and writing explores intersectional feminisms, site-responsive commissions, and artistic interventions.&nbsp; Kulvinder "Kay" Arora&nbsp;(Moderator) is a writer, educator, activist, president of Literary Legacies, and PJIFF’s Chair of Inclusion.&nbsp;&nbsp;Kay taught film criticism as a former Professor of Women's Studies. She contributes to several non-profits in the Bay Area by empowering women and youth to write their own stories.
