This documentary is about the pioneer of Polish neurosurgery, world-famous Professor Mirosław Ząbek. As director of the Gamma Knife Center in Warsaw, he and his team from the Bródno Hospital in Warsaw, developed an innovative therapy for the treatment of a severe congenital metabolic defect that prevents a child’s development (L-aromatic amino acid decarboxylase deficiency, AADC). The film shows the treatment of patients at the Gamma Knife Center in Warsaw. One of them was the actor Paweł Królikowski, who died in February 2020.
