The directive was simple: Using an iPhone and whatever’s easily at your disposal, shoot a short film dealing with quarantine life in 2020. This ambitious yet humbly executed series runs the gamut tonally and narratively and offers a unique DIY intimacy. This very special offering premiered in two volumes at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021. Thanks to our friends Chris Cooper and Marianne Leone Cooper, we welcome this very original film anthology to the festival. See Julianne Moore, Rosie Perez, Emily Mortimer and many others in tiny film gems that capture this difficult and luminous moment in history, with original portraits of confinement and isolation. Humor, drama, mystery and meditation. Together, they’ve provided a touchingly optimistic record of one of this generation’s most difficult years.
