A teenage girl and her step-father set up camp in the rocky mountains. He hope to recapture the magic of the trips they took when she was little, but she has seemingly outgrown the tradition. His spirit is further deflated after she confesses she will be going to college in China, near her real dad. At the height of the argument, a curious grizzly bear prowls their secluded campsite, illuminating their unresolved pasts and unsettled futures.
