In the remote mountains of Macedonia, the last female bee-hunter in Europe tends to her hives using ancient techniques and following the golden rule for sustainable honey cultivation: take half, but leave half for the bees. When a family of nomadic beekeepers moves in next door, her peaceful existence and nature's delicate balance is threatened.

This stunning film won three awards at the 2019 Sundance Fim Festival and was the first film in history to receive nominations for both Best Documentary Feature and Best International Feature at the 2020 Academy Awards. Winner of the PhilaEnviroFilmFest 2020 BEST FEATURE AWARD.
