When marriage equality becomes legal in 2015, a long-time gay couple divorce just as everyone else is getting married. After his commitment-phobic husband divorces him, Max, a stuck-in-his-ways gay man in his 40s, tries his best to start over. When Max becomes accidental roommates with Conrad (Cody Duke), a younger, hip nerd who is as romantically-challenged as he is, sparks fly. Naturally, that’s the cue for Max’s ex-husband (who’s been exploring his kinky side) to come back seeking reconciliation. ALL KINDS OF LOVE is a feel-good, probing dramedy about people trying to follow their hearts against all odds. Writer-director David Lewis (REDWOODS, LONGHORNS) re-teams with Matthew Montgomery (the star of those queer indie films, and last seen in Reeling’s 2018 mystery thriller DEVIL’S PATH) for this sexy and diverting rom-com.
