Ìfé is a love story about ìfé and Adaora, two Nigerian women who fall in love over a three-day date, but their love is soon tested by the realities of being lesbian in Nigeria. Ìfé brings to the fore the very real challenges associated with lesbian love in a country like Nigeria (familial and societal expectations), as well as a glimpse into same-sex love. It is the first of its kind in the Nigerian film industry as it is the first time a Nigerian film centers two women in love.
