Mo (Haaz Sleiman), an Arab living in West Hollywood, is still depressed over last year’s breakup when his closeted lover left to marry a woman. Maybe a friend’s birthday party might cheer him up. There he meets Kal (Michael Cassidy) an athlete who’s easy on the eyes.&nbsp;In rom-coms love never runs smoothly. As things get serious, Mo’s ex (Patrick Sabongui) re-enters the picture. He’s now separated from his wife and wants Mo back. As charming as this film is, it also takes on complex issues, like religious and sexual identity. And food.
