Guided by Daemin Whetung, join Michi Saagig Anishinaabeg at the first of four Annual Mnoominkewin Festivals organized by Patti Shaughnessy. Witness the joy and health that flow from the active practice of Mnoominke – the lifestyle of planting, gathering, and processing Mnoomin into food. Celebrate the return of Mnoomin with singing, drumming, story-telling, and Anishinaabemowin language revival. This sacred plant has sustained Anishinaabeg for millennia and offers a positive and peaceful way through the Environmental and Social crises of today. Practice reconciliation by restoring the health of the waters and all the beings that rely on the waters for life.
