In a near future, a genius scientist recounts how he created the first androids, exact replicas of deceased children. In a very distant future, a small community of children-androids lives on a remote island. The arrival of a female teenager, the only human, changes the pace of their life. Two androids embark on their last journey to find the Truth.

Director Biography - Vanessa Ly

Vanessa Ly is a French writer-director based in New York. A Sorbonne graduate in Modern Literature and self-taught filmmaker, she won the Jameson Short Film Award and Best Short Film at the Bangkok Film Festival for Mekong Interior. Her work has screened at Rotterdam, Edinburgh, Palm Springs, Côté Court Pantin, Rencontres du Moyen Métrage de Brive (France), La Cabina Valencia (Spain) and Anthology Film Archives (NYC).

Her debut feature, Memories of the Future, starring William Fichtner and Aurora Quattrocchi, won the Best Philip K. Dick Feature Award. She is currently developing her second feature.
