Emily Ford sets out with Diggins, a borrowed Alaskan Husky sled dog, to become the first woman and person of color to thru-hike the 1,200-mile Ice Age Trail in winter. As the 69-day journey through subzero temperatures tests her physical and mental endurance, Emily and her canine protector develop an unbreakable bond as they embrace the unexpected kindness of strangers and discover they’ve become figureheads in the movement to make the outdoors more accessible for everyone. What begins as an extraordinary physical and mental challenge also becomes a spiritual adventure.

Mary, a hospice nurse who has lost all sense of compassion, rediscovers her call to care in the most unlikely place: a dead possum.

Tula is the cleaning lady at a private school for girls. During her workday, she meets the headteacher's fourteen-year-old daughter in the toilet. The girl is going to tell Tula her secret. Tula will have to decide whether to help her or not.

Tula

Tula is in charge of cleaning the bathrooms of a girls' school. Her day is altered when the director's fourteen-year-old daughter confesses that she is pregnant.

Mahogany is a talented black engineer working in the not so subtly racist south.She's been working at TLS for five years, but her boss continually gives the two new guys preferential treatment. As a coping mechanism Mahogany creates Liquida, a wild and expressive reflection of her self-consciousness. There are three versions of Liquida who, in their own way, try to get Mahogany to speak up for herself. When her boss embarrasses Mahogany in front of the new guys as well as a very important client, Liquida finally takes over Mahogany's body. And she holds nothing back.

A timid engineer develops a wild and expressive split personality to help her speak up to the boy’s club at work.
