A collection of films that center the queer API experience. These short films show the process of growing up as a queer-identifying person, navigating family life through queer characters, and living authentically in Asian American LGBTQ+ communities. BIND is about an intimate moment of dis/connection between a Taiwanese immigrant mother and her gender-nonconforming child. Its specific story is immersed in the transnational experience of diasporic communities in North America, as well as portraying scenes from an Asian American trans experience. To keep their identities anonymous, the parents’ recording will be re-enacted with puppets. This is everything you always wanted to know about your gay child…but were afraid to ask.

GRADUATION is a romantic comedy about lies and secrets — and how they crumble when we get away from the pretensions of society and can be true to ourselves. It is a film about family and the gaps between generations that could probably never really understand each other, but somehow find themselves in similar dilemmas as their true feelings rise up against social norms. When a surprise party interrupts his plans, John has to find a private moment to confess his feelings for Henry before he moves away the next day. BLUE SUIT is a coming-of-age film about two gay Asian American friends and how they view relationships, connection, and life changes. It captures a moment in John and Henry's lives right before they step into a new chapter.

An award-winning experimental documentary that explores the nuances of queer diasporic, Chinese culture. The narrative follows the story of the Vancouver-based drag artist "Maiden China" (aka Kendell Yan).

AND THEN is a short film about two women who meet and grow closer to each other through insomnia, exploring a new city, and art. The short film follows Mana, a Japanese-American woman who arrives in Tokyo seeking to find a break from her life as an artist, and Haru, a Japanese woman from the countryside who dreams of becoming an artist herself one day. It is a story about missed connections, finding purpose, and the possibility of reconnecting with those we've lost touch with.

DANCING ON MY OWN is a love letter to the queer Asian experience, inspired by New York's radical dance party Bubble_T. A hybrid documentary/narrative, this short film stars Joy Regullano, Princess Punzalan and features artists from the Bubble_T community, including actor Bowen Yang. A love letter to the queer Asian experience, inspired by New York's radical dance party Bubble_T.

WERE YOU GAY IN HIGH SCHOOL? is the story of two queer, Asian American women who share their awkward, closeted stories from high school. Hannah and Kelly open up about their uncomfortable, coming-of-age moments as teens by finding commonalities in their stories and learning about the people they used to be. They reminisce about the boyfriends they didn’t like kissing and the straight-girls who were definitely flirting with them. The stories shared are silly, painful, and honest.
