Set in the charming seaside town of Fish Hoek, "Normal To Me" is an intimate feature documentary exploring the lives of individuals with special needs employed at a local protective workshop. Through heartfelt interviews and compelling visuals, the film follows selected individuals on their daily journeys, revealing the resilience, talent, and perspective that make each of them extraordinary.

Challenging societal expectations at every turn, the documentary doesn't shy away from the real difficulties these individuals face - but it lingers longest on their triumphs, finding strength in the courage it takes to simply be themselves. More than a portrait of disability, "Normal To Me" is a redefinition of the word "normal" itself.
