At this pivotal time in Canada’s history we are being asked to confront the tragic effects, on so many Indigenous people, of the Residential School policy. SAFF Canada and EwB approached Heather Royal Brant and asked her to assist with the creation of a meaningful land acknowledgement. The result is a short film that asks each of us to become aware again of the value of our natural resources.&nbsp;Heather regards this film as part of a greater healing. Enjoy a lively and intimate conversation as Zip Zappers reconnect to share their experiences of circus life with journalist, Nicole Nozick. EWB staffer, Likho Lubisi, reflects on the influence of Zip Zap in shaping the person she has become; and Zip Zap founders, Laurence Esteve and Brent Van Rensburg, explain why this unique ‘social’ circus is so much more impressive than a traditional circus.
