Paco and Jose are two teenage boys living in a marginal neighbourhood of Madrid, a place hostile to each of their dreams. With serious family problems, and surrounded by an aggressive, macho, homophobic environment, they must lead a double life to hide the beginning of a love relationship and their passion for flamenco dance.

    Spain; Director Biography - Julio Mas Alcaraz Julio Mas Alcaraz is a poet, filmmaker, producer and economist. He has directed several short films (participating in more than 300 film festivals and holding numerous awards). His work has been commissioned, among others, by The National Gallery in London. He has also published five books of poetry, being a finalist for the Spanish National Poetry Award, and has hold management positions in several international companies. He has also done film criticism. He holds a Master of Arts in Filmmaking from the London Film School as well as an International Master of Business Administration from Instituto de Empresa. He is the founder of Un Chien Européen Films, a film production company specialized in auteur films. He produced Carla Simon’s first important short film. He has participated in workshops and master classes with directors such as, among others, Victor Erice, Mike Leigh, Ken Loach, Abbas Kiarostami, David Lynch, Peter Mettler and Albert Maysles. He has participated in workshops and master classes in screenwriting with Gabriel García Márquez, Dustin Lance, Charlie Kaufman and Guillermo Arriaga.
