In post-apocalyptic future Cape Town, a jaded, desperate sex worker, Annika, encounters the blind and homeless Lisolethu, whose innocence erupts her plan of self-satisfaction to be a revelation of the deeper void to be fulfilled.

20 hours before Storm Sandy hits Cape Town, Lisolethu is a blind adolescent who has just run away from home to escape his past traumas. He tries to reconstruct his own value but his society shatters him to his most broken state in which he finally achieves self-realization.

Rita is married to Eddie, an abusive husband, who severely punished her for having an affair. She plots a delightfully horrific revenge to get him back that involves an ancient ritual.
