SA Indie Film Fest 2020 x Dramatic #2 Short Official Selection

The Docks is about Hugo, a haunted dock worker, who is given a chance at redemption when a woman from his past named Gugu appears one night with a strange request to smuggle her onto a ship back to South Africa.

Set in 1993, amid the changing political climate in both South Africa and Australia, The Docks poses the question: how far would a person be willing to go, and how much would they sacrifice, to fulfil the wishes of a loved one?
