Kareem Samara
We welcome composer, collaborator and musician Kareem Samara for an evening of musical explorations through Oud and Percussion at Sands Films Music Room. Fresh from his role as musical director for The Globe Theatre and Tamash’s co-production of Hakawatis, Kareem’s solo music will combine traditional Arab and western acoustic instruments alongside electronics, creating unique soundscapes and performances.
All proceeds from these events will go directly to projects run by members of the Retaj Foundation of Palestinian Women; a social and cultural centre for women's empowerment.
