We are welcoming back the Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra.
The Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra’s New Year Concert
The Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra is an ensemble of string quartet, piano, flute and oboe and has been praised for their joyous interpretation of unjustly neglected Palm Court music. For example this year’s programme includes We Were so Young (by Jerome Kern), Ukraine (by Frederick Charrosin) and Tartan Parade (by Montague Ewing). After all the misery of 2023 the music will provide a promising start to the New Year and look back light-heartedly at some notable events of the year gone by.
Expect a lively start to the new year with a programme of memorable melodies and charming songs.
