ANGEL, 64 is a widow, ex-professional cellist and property guardian, living alone in a dilapidated building. She hasn’t managed well since the death of her wife, isolating herself and abandoning her cello.

Following the arrival of new tenant, BATHSHEBA; RICH, the property manager serves ANGEL an eviction notice. Events culminate when RICH shows up unannounced, inebriated and picks a fight with ANGEL. In a beautiful act of solidarity, BATHSHEBA appears and diffuses the situation.

Once back in her bedroom, ANGEL plays her cello again for the first time in years, allowing her to move through this stage of her grief.
