"Good-morning, Revolution:

You're the very best friend

I ever had.

We gonna pal around together from now on."

- Good Morning Revolution by Langston Hughes

Come experience films with uplifting Black storylines, new Black character archetypes, and new imagined possibilities becoming a reality. These powerful narratives move beyond stories of oppression, breathing life back into us as we can continue to do the work of making this world a better place for us.

What does it mean to live your own identity with freedom in an environment of invisibility? The hairstyles of four Afro-descendant people from Mexican – Senegalese families, represent the starting point to reflect, through memories that emerge from their past and present, what it is like to live in México wearing a Black Crown and the consequences that implies. Because, in the face of this racist system, self-love is also resistance.
