- NoteHow can we as individual human beings possibly make a difference when it comes to artificial intelligence? It seems like everyone I talk to about this subject is very concerned with a future society with advanced AI’s incorporated in it, and would rather not think or talk about it, because really - what can they do? The power is out of their hands. Or more precisely, it’s in a few hands many miles away. And this is half true. We may not be able to write the coding, but we can influence it. That’s the power of film, and frankly, that’s why I’m fascinated by this medium. I want to shed a lot of spot light on the morality aspect of advanced artificial intelligence, and I want all the non-tech people to have an opinion about it and feel engaged and inspired to discuss it. I want Alan to give them hope, but at the same time, a reason to be concerned. I truly believe Alan can achieve this goal that I set for him with this film and he will do it through his engaging story and fascinating world and character.
