From The Wild Sea: A network of marine wildlife rescue volunteers works tirelessly to save marine animals from the threats wrought by the human world, from oil, plastic and escalating winter storms.

A European network of marine animal rescue volunteers work night and day, year-round to rescue coastal wildlife from life-threatening elements; oil, plastic and escalating gales. As climate change fuels violent weather across the seas, the winter storms are coming at them with an unprecedented roar. Simultaneously, wild animals are struggling with their human surroundings. From The Wild Sea is a documentary about the collision of humans and nature, a disturbing and fascinating journey into the emerging Anthropocene Era, seen from both the human and animal perspectives. As humans attempt to rescue marine creatures, each individual animal looks back at us with inquisitive eyes.
