March 2020. After China, the whole planet locks itself in. Our world, what we call “real,” has been drained of its substance. At the same time, forms of digital life multiply and relationships are forged between avatars whose relationships take shape in virtual spaces.
The film asks what if the crisis we are actually experiencing is not a pandemic, but an accelerated derealization of our lives?
