Combining sensory images and a mosaic of layered editing, cinematography and sound, this is a short but memorable immersion into Man’s perspective.
The Blooming
After serving 27 years in prison isolated from language and community, Solange, an older Deaf woman, is ready to start life anew. This lovely touching film from director Audrey Sangla explores what it means to “bloom” again in freedom.

This collection of four films is a mixture of documentary, narrative and experimental storytelling that explores themes of Deaf identity with vision, clarity and creativity.
