Clota and Stella are a mother and daughter in a codependent relationship. When Stella learns her late-father has left her two apartments in a far-away seaside town, she and her mother take a trip to inspect the properties. Along the way, it becomes increasingly clear these apartments represent an unbearable reality for Clota: a potential separation from her daughter which might be too much to bear.
