Pulling out hair, dealing with rejection, going through the motions, murder in a kiddie pool, therapeutic drawing, a handful of buzzing flies, a reanimated dog, dripping hair, searching for identity, the fish keep dying, improv parking lot dancing, birds birds birds and releasing the inner wolf. ---

“TRICHOTILLOMANIA” tells the story of one girl’s Google-search-gone-wrong to find out why she can’t stop pulling out her hair.

In this love letter to artists, their art and its audience, one filmmaker is confronted with rejection after rejection untill at last a beautiful fig tree bears sweet fruits. “Conversations with a Whale” was created directly under the camera lens, using various analogue animation techinques.

You Are Here is an experimental animation that plays on the idea of an instructional video. Through a series of montages, the film breaks down ideas around success and identity between Eastern and Western perspectives.

Therapy part, self-questioning, Q1: Why did you draw? Q2: How did you begin to draw? Q3: Why did you stop drawing? Q4: How did you go back to draw? Q5: Will you draw on? The film is about creativity through drawing topic. Since everybody is a naturally individual creator, thought we might struggle in the reality that make us stop creating or even forgetting who we are. Let’s keep it in mind that we’re a creator rather than a random person in the crowd.

A sad and restrained man lying on the bed in his empty room. Hesitates, ponder hypotheses in a cycle without deciding, stuck. In exhaustion all anguish equals. Another man is sitting at the window: he looks at him and to the street. Characters in broken situations. The key positions, the suspended sequences, are shown. The man almost decides - and they almost return, inside and out, to them and to the city, time and movement. Infinite dawn.

In an imaginary space a woman let go of herself and overcame fearing her own greatness. She discovers her body, she embraces her emotions, and learns to own all the parts that make her HER.

A little too much

A short film about late night self-talk, sleeping and dreaming in a country where you are considered to be an alien. It's a flow of thoughts about trying to rediscover identity. A stream of consciousness about oneness while living life in a second language.

Internal Monologue

A young woman describes her father and his relationship to his many pets that he never managed to take care of. The animals consistently die one after the other in a context of a family being torn apart.

Her hair was soft and white as a puppy’s.

A fantasy of subversive playfulness: improvisational dancing in a time and place least likely to occur, in the heat of a parking altercation. Through animation, this short is an experiment in creating a more intimate experience of dance for the viewer. The character's kinetic identity is showcased, as the body's form is transposed into color, rhythm, and shape, reflecting the score.

Auto Bodies

At night, while family members indulge in curious rituals before sleeping, a child invokes a wolf from the bottom of a box hidden under his bed. Disturbing sheep then besiege the door of his bedroom....
