The (fake) director invites some friends / interviewees to describe “Mx. ZE” and asks all of them two questions: “How do you think Mx. ZE is?” & “Can you talk more about your memories with Mx. ZE?” Some people cry, and some people laugh, as if “Mx. ZE” were everyone’s best friend. After all the interview is done, the (real) director shows the interview footage to other random strangers, who just know “Mx. ZE” by words and stories of the others. Then, the director asks those strangers to produce a face of “Mx. ZE” by his or her impressions based on the footage. Strangely, “Mx. ZE” looks completely different and seems to have multiple personalities?! How can this be? Does “Mx. ZE” really exists in the real world? Or, is this just a social experimental game that tests the limit of gossip / stereotype?   

此實驗性短片帶領觀眾深入刻板印象與流言蜚語的核心。透過群眾受邀觀賞並參與實驗短片的創作，「聽說他這個人」的議題被層層堆疊至思辨的高峰。在當今社會與網路社群文化下，人云亦云聽說的「他」到底是怎樣的一個人呢？

Director Po-Shun Lu (BiDiu) was born in 1992, Yun-Lin County, Taiwan. He graduated from the Department of Graphic Communication & Arts and has a simultaneous degree at the Department of Motion Picture, both from National Taiwan University of Arts. Now, LU is a visual storyteller and graphic designer. With his first and extraordinary short WILD TIDES (2017), he won: Best Director Awards both at Taipei Film Festival as well as Golden Harvest Short Film Festival. Moreover, the title was chosen by many film festivals around the world, including IFVA, H.K. and First Film Festival, China. This year, LU will debut multiple works, starting with this interesting mockumentary: A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT…(2021)

台灣導演呂柏勳作品常以個人經歷出發，關注影像如何梳理個人生命史，進而擴及至族群的集體狀態。國立臺灣藝術大學圖文傳播藝術學系、雙主修電影學系。首部劇情短片《野潮》（2016）榮獲多項大獎。本部短片獲第43屆金穗獎最佳實驗片入圍。
