An outgoing New York City art student falls for an introverted photographer who happens to be Deaf—and living on the other side of the world.

Silent Notes explores the navigation of two worlds through music and culture. A timid and withdrawn Zacharias seeks to join a Black Baptist choir, drawn to a community with which he seems to have little in common. Zacharias perseveres against his insecurities, attempting to find peace in achieving something he desperately desires: a place of acceptance and belonging. A misunderstood, Deaf, white young man longs to join a Black Baptist choir that he secretly admires.

Aimee Victoria is a short film conceived and created remotely during the lockdown of 2020. It is inspired by true stories of relationships from disabled and LGBTQIA people, which never make it to the screen. Two profoundly deaf women of color have their relationship tested during a period of unprecedented turmoil. Separated on their anniversary, Aimee is shaken out of her self-imposed apathy as she demonstrates her love to Victoria. Aimee Victoria

A film about two profoundly deaf women of color whose relationship is tested during a period of unprecedented turmoil.

Motion Light Lab is excited to release a short 3D animated film in American Sign Language, one of the first of its kind using motion capture technology. Dimensions is a story about Zoe, a smart, spunky 12-year-old Deaf girl with sky-high ambitions. She wants to become an astronaut when she grows up, just like her mother Angie. However, on a top mission for a space agency, Angie disappears. Follow Zoe's journey as she tries to bring her mother back and makes the biggest discovery in the history of humankind.
