Aimee Victoria is a short film conceived and created remotely during the lockdown of 2020. It is inspired by true stories of relationships from disabled and LGBTQIA people, which never make it to the screen.

Two profoundly deaf women of color have their relationship tested during a period of unprecedented turmoil. Separated on their anniversary, Aimee is shaken out of her self-imposed apathy as she demonstrates her love to Victoria.

[Poster image description: A film poster for the film “Aimee Victoria.“ The poster is split into two photographs with white text overlay. The top photo shows a black woman standing on the balcony of a white building and looking down to the street, smiling. Other white apartment buildings are visible behind her. The bottom photo shows a white woman standing o n the sidewalk with her arms outstretched high. She cocks her head, looking up and smiling. Text overlay overlaps the two photographs with the title. On bottom, covering the photo is a block of white text with the top line underlined: “When life locks down, hope can lift you up”. Underneath are production credits.]
