
A girl, faced with her dyslexia disorder, tries to compose a text on paper. With each new attempt, the girl experiences greater and greater frustrations, which are manifested in the form of playful and restless letters. The letters "dance" and transform around the girl, and as their confrontation approaches the climax, the girl's torment is symbolically depicted, along with her struggle to overcome the problem she lives with. Technique: hand-drawn 2D computer animation and paper cut-out animation.
Nataša Glišović was born in 1998, in Belgrade. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in the Animation department, at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, under the mentorship of professor Rastko Ćirić. WEB ("Mreža"), her graduation film, won the Best Serbian Student Film award at the 17th European Animated Film Festival, Balkanima 2020, and the film received the Creator of Change award at the Miami Just Film Festival in the United States in 2021. It was also shown at many festivals worldwide. DYSLEXIA ("Disleksija") is the product of her master's thesis and her second official animated short.
Nataša is a freelance illustrator, animator and graphic designer. She worked as an animator on WHITE PLASTIC SKY (2023), from directors Tibor Bánóczki and Sarolta Szabó. She co-directed a short film HALINA KONOPACKA with Dana Vukajlović and Katarina Milin. The project was done in cooperation with the Faculty of Applied Arts and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade. She made an animated intermission jingle for the festival Balkanima in 2019. The same year, she participated in animating for the international animated interactive performance, TESLA PROJECT.
