GodFood, a documentary film that explores Black Men’s food health and searches for an answer to “What should Black Men eat in America?” Inspired by conversations within his network, we follow D. Antione, Producer and Host of the All Black Everything Podcast. I intend to seek, search, & discover the current truths about the food available to us (Black Men) and find a new guideline that supports the health goals of Black men in America. In 7 segments, I will interview experts, doctors, community leaders, nutritionists, chefs, surgeons, health professionals, and community leaders and gather their info, experience, and advice to assemble a new guide for dietary health. So many diet options are available today: fasting, plant-based, keto, Vegan, Atkins, Pescatarian, paleo, etc. How do we determine which is best for us? Should we adjust our diet as we change our activity or as we age? Black men are at a statistical disadvantage when it comes to morbidity and mortality that can be traced back to their diet and exercise and possibly further. Additionally, how has slavery and the middle passage affected how we have adapted/evolved?
