A collection of stories centering the relationships between generations and the effects that they have on one another on both a personal and societal level. The stories here include that of an absurdist conversation about soup in the middle of the street between an older and younger man, a father and son each growing up with the same playground landmark, a girl trying to learn more about her family history from her reluctant father, a five-year-old grappling with her father’s absence from her upcoming birthday party, an artist seeking her mother’s help from beyond the grave to deal with two generations of harmful men, a meeting that takes place in the projected future of a generation in whose world few animals remain, and a dancer who draws on the power of her ancestors to break a generational curse.
Pedro Henrique Chaves is a filmmaker from Brazil, who has an acting background and has written and directed 5 short films that have been screened internationally. With his short "Look Around"- 2017 Pedro won an Honorable Mention "First time as Director" at the LA Film Awards. In 2019, Pedro directed a documentary ( It's up to you ) in Thailand, and his most recent movie (Rocket,2020) he wrote and directed at the age of 17, and the short premiered at the New York Latino Film Festival. Pedro won Best Student Director at the Prague International Indie Film Festival with Rocket.
