The series follows Oleg, a successful psychotherapist. He is a shining example of Moscow's plastic society and its vicious circle of egotism, of which he is at the very center. Antidepressants, alcohol, and cannabis have become everyday coping mechanisms for Oleg, but he still makes great efforts to maintain his status as a top professional. Although he's always on the pulse of the city's beating heart, he is utterly alone. He has a long way to go before he can come to terms with his professional life and his true feelings. He will go the way of the fool, the narcissist, and the egotist before seeing himself as he truly is and remembering who he once was. This is the path of loss, disappointment, and reevaluation, at the end of which lies the possibility of real-life and true happiness. The question is, what destruction did he leave in his wake on the way to finding himself, and is the damage fatal?
