Resistance is the adventures of Marcel, a refractory from the Compulsory Labor Service, Noël, a deserter from the French army, and Raoule, a nomad who lives in the forest as they work to free France from the Germans during the Occupation in 1941. With many others, they must form a structured and organized resistance network with the "forces" present. However, "structured and organized" is the opposite of our protagonists who come from different political, religious, and social backgrounds. A real teurgoule (a slightly bizarre Norman dessert) of characters who have a common goal: Free France, and yes no less.
