An engaging story about the Brevoort, an old Hollywood apartment building with a notorious past, that has been managed for the last 18 years by former Warhol superstar Joe Dallesandro.

The film details Joe's storied past as a counterculture and gay icon as well as the history of the hotel, now a haven for artists struggling to make it, which Joe has dubbed "The Chelsea West".
