A poetic documentary based on Mikis Theodorakis’s & Iakovos Kambanellis’s “MAUTHAUSEN cantata” new interpretation by Aristarchos Papadaniel (voice) & Aris Zervas (cello) and the original handwritten unpublished text for a film shooting “Travelogue to Mauthausen - May 1988” by the concentration camp survivor and founder of the modern Greek post-war theatre Iakovos Kambanellis. The new MAUTHAUSEN recordings were the last official releases published with the permission of the world-renowned Greek composer and political activist Mikis Theodorakis (ZORBA, Z) just one month before his passing on September 02, 2021.
