'The Awakening of the Asian Elephant' is a short observational documentary about an elephant who falls sick and the local mahouts (elephant caretakers) who fight to save her life. 
The story takes place inside the Yok Don National Park where Animals Asia homes a few retired elephants who used to work carrying tourists in the Dak Lak province, Vietnam. Together with H'Plo, AAF hired her mahout, Nhat, to work for the park close to his elephant. This is a story of resilience, camaraderie and trust between two different species who have always lived alongside each other.

The Awakening of the Vietnamese Elephant

The Marsican Brown Bear imprinted its legacy in the Central Apennines centuries ago. This endemic species once thrived in the region, but it is now recognised as being endangered. Human interference has greatly compromised the bears’ potential to populate and survive in the area over the years. This film documents the lives and the challenges that the remaining bears face, raising awareness of Salviamo l’Orso’s efforts to preserve them.

When it comes to the discovery and documentation of birds, Tim Laman is one of the best in the world. As he entered the final curation stages of his forthcoming book, Bird Planet, fellow bird lover and National Geographic photographer Keith Ladzinski reached out with an opportunity to go on safari in one of the world's birding hotspots, Brazil's Pantanal region. It had been on Tim's bucket list for years but he had yet to visit, so he jumped at the chance to photograph some of South America's best birds.
