A History of Running Aground
Through layers of reenactment, siblings Scott, Sharon, and Craig recount dramatic recollections of their childhood sailing trips. A History of Running Aground examines how their family’s sense of humor about the experience might mask many traumatic memories.
Diomysus
An experimental film where a group of mice (voiced by members of the UK polyamorous community who's identities are masked using puppetry) discuss their experiences of polyamory. Diomysus asks the question - are we (the audience) more open to taboo ideas if unconscious bias is eliminated?
Dust to Light
Dust to Light is a 12 minute documentary about what is really going on under the surface when we are cleaning. The film listens as four Zen practitioners reflect on the transformative process of cleaning when it is approached as a meditation rather than burdensome chore.
Pheasants of Detroit
Ring-necked Pheasants, typically known as a rural farmland species, are thriving in the open spaces of Detroit. A little human-pheasant subculture has developed in the city—pheasants are neighbors to human residents and muses to local artists. Pheasants have become the unofficial city bird of Detroit! Join everyday Detroiters in a walk around the city as we celebrate these funky birds at home in their urban element.

Visually informed by the stark, impressive landscape of the Norwegian Lofoten region, this film looks at two individuals, a young man and a young woman, both have a powerful relationship with the ocean. The young man Siddhartha is a travelling surfer searching for meaning and trying to understand what makes him the way he is. Drawn by the immense beauty and power of the ocean he uses his surfboard to interact with something elemental and pure. This in turn seems to have an effect on his inner visions and he begins to see how nature can fill in for some of the role models he might be missing. Linn is a local Norwegian sailor and fishes for a living. She takes pride in her families traditions and ponders familiar myths about the ocean. She is driven to provide for her young children.
