In this documentary, the filmmaker attempts to understand the Lebanese peoples’ complicated ties to their country and discusses the ever-present question on their minds: should we migrate elsewhere or remain here, despite all hardship? The film highlights how people feel about living in Lebanon today, following challenging events in the recent past, culminating in the explosion at Beirut port on 4 August 2020.

تسعى المخرجة في هذا الفيلم الوثائقي إلى فهم العلاقة الشائكة بين اللبنانيين وبلدهم، وتناقش السؤال الدائم الذي يدور في أذهانهم وهو: هل نهاجر أم نبقى هنا رغم كل الصعوبات؟ يضيء الفيلم على شعور الناس حيال العيش في لبنان اليوم، وذلك في أعقاب الأحداث القاسية التي وقعت في الآونة الأخيرة، وبلغت ذروتها مع انفجار مرفأ بيروت في 4 أغسطس 2020.
