A boxing gym on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation teaches young girls how to defend themselves in response to over 100 Native American girls and women from Montana having disappeared, been murdered, or their status remains unknown in the past two years.

Coastal Requiem investigates the plight of displacement due to climate change amongst five coastal communities around the globe. Weaving Diane Tuft's photography and haikus with deeply personal interviews, the short film portrays the global climate refugee crisis due to rising sea levels.

Phil Ragsdale’s friends described him as “the Marlboro Man”—he wore cowboy boots and jeans. The occasional cowboy hat. In 1976, Phil created an event that he aimed to counter stereotypes of gay men like himself. Nothing quite like the Reno Gay Rodeo had existed before, especially in a town like Reno, Nevada. It got off to a rough start. He had a difficult time finding a rancher who would let him use his livestock for this brand new gay event. But word got out fast. In a matter of a few years, tens of thousands of people attended the rodeos, coming from across the world. Rainbow Rodeo is a documentary that explores the beginnings of the gay rodeo, and the minds behind it.

Join Kerra as she explores the impact of restorative practices in Detroit’s classrooms, courts, and executive boardrooms and views Detroit through the lens of a man whose family tragedy led to his vision of Detroit as a restorative city.

Lizbeth Mateo is an attorney in Los Angeles—one who started a law practice, hired four employees, and took an oath to uphold the U.S. constitution. She also has no legal options to stay in the country. Lizbeth is undocumented. Since crossing the border at age 14, Lizbeth hasn’t let her immigration status hold her back. Frustrated by an unjust system, she’s drawing from her own experiences to fight for immigrant rights in the streets and in the courts. Her latest client is Edith Espinal, a woman avoiding deportation by taking sanctuary in a church. As the months turn to years, Lizbeth is running out of legal options to help. Lizbeth returns to her activist roots and teaches Edith to fight back—because sometimes you need to ignore the law in order to change it.
