BACKSTAGE PASS: Carnival of the Animals, tells the simple story of how on Earth Day, the animals of the Bronx Zoo put on a dance concert for the patrons of the park. Filmed during the Covid shutdown when theaters and concert halls were dark for months, the dancers and musicians of the New York City Ballet self-produced this small gift to the people of New York.
