Ibb Kya Kothie

Ibb Kya Kothie revolves around the struggles of Kajal who is in her late thirties and her ten year old adopted daughter Pari. Pari’s mother was a prostitute who is no more. They both reside in a two room house of a lower middle class locality. Kajal is a trained beautician who has plans of opening a beauty parlor. Currently she has to resort to dancing in weddings to make ends meet. Pari, her school going daughter is not happy with her mother or her way of life. She has no friends and moreover she is being ostracized and made fun off by her classmates, since her mother is a transgender. Pari doesn’t like going to school or being at home. One day Pari and her mother are summoned by the school Principal. Kajal decides to discontinue her daughters schooling. In the school premises Kajal is humiliated by the lecherous office boy who even propositions her in the presence of her daughter. Kajal finds the headmistress powerless and helpless against the parent who is against her daughters schooling. Her continuous humiliation by the society over the years reaches a breaking point. She no longer can see her daughter suffer. When it comes to her childs well being she is willing to fight with anyone and everyone especially the homophobias. Will Kajal triumph in her lonely fight against society?
