Three filmmakers confront systems of violence and erasure, revealing how images, resistance and truth-telling become tools for survival, exposure and defiance.

A Romanian environmentalist risks everything to expose IKEA's destruction of ancient forest, in an urgent, gripping portrait of one person's fight against powerful corporate interests.

Gabi Paun grew up under communist Romania, an upbringing that forged a fierce refusal to look away. Through his organisation Agent Green, he wages a meticulous and increasingly dangerous investigation into the logging of some of Europe's last remaining primary woodland, working towards a damning report into IKEA's role in its destruction. The access Wild East achieves is remarkable, placing Paun's personal risk and resilience at the centre of a story with much wider ecological stakes. After multiple attempts on his life, he is forced to flee his home, yet remains immovable in his commitment.
