From Texas classrooms to neurodiverse self-discovery and a particular Italian youth community, three films explore how young lives adapt, resist and redefine what it means to belong.

Five young men live in a community on the outskirts of Milan, sent here by courts and social services. None of them know what comes next.

Kayros is a residential community for minors and young men referred by the juvenile justice system. Everyone here arrived with their own story of difficult choices and things that didn't work out. Shot in black and white, The Shrimp Condition stays close to the texture of their days: the routines, the conversations, the restless stretches of time where not much happens and everything simmers underneath. Their stories circle around one another, never quite resolving, building a portrait of young lives caught in genuine limbo, suspended between consequences and whatever comes next.
