LOVE TO THE MAX illuminates the survival of a family pursuing an everyday life, while preparing a midnight escape from a rising tyranny in their home state of Texas that threatens to tear them apart. Catapulted into the national spotlight when the far right wing of Texas government sends Child Protection Services to interrogate Max's parents Amber and Adam Briggle as child abusers for supporting Max's gender-affirming healthcare, the Briggle family confronts their anonymous whistleblowers, corrupt politicians, and ideological despots in the plain sight of the Texas sun.
