Biography
Lori is on Telefilm’s Project Financing team which is responsible for decisions under Telefilm’s Canada Feature Film family of programs. She is the primary contact for all Atlantic feature film clients and helps them navigate Telefilm and its programs. Part of her mandate is to develop and support feature film talent (producers, writers, and directors) in the Atlantic region, primarily through investment in an annual portfolio of projects with budgets less than $3.5 million. Lori has been with Telefilm for 25 years working across all sectors and through the value chain, including feature film, television, new media and industry development and many international co-productions. Before Telefilm, she worked at Charles Bishop Productions, Dalhousie Legal Aid Services and Bedford Institute of Oceanography.
