The short film, Rogue, is an unflinching look at the cost war has on its soldiers once they have left the battlefield and the life and death choices they have to make on it.
Rogue follows Noah a former soldier as he struggles to connect with his girlfriend and his present life while trying to forget the past.
We jump from present into Noah’s memory and find his platoon providing security at a small outpost in Northern Iraq. Noah leaves Ethan, his second in command in charge while Noah runs a small recon mission. Upon returning to the outpost Noah finds it overrun and Ethan the lone survivor. Noah and Ethan argue about what has transpired, responsibility and the rules of engagement. Ultimately Noah will blame himself and look for a way to make it right.
As the story unfolds Noah awakes from sleep only to find himself in a daze. As soon as he closes his eyes he goes right back to place we left him and thus repeats a never-ending cycle as he re lives the nightmare over and over again.

ROGUE

A former soldier struggles to live in the present and forget the past, but his dreams vividly replay a fight gone horribly wrong that will haunt him forever. As he relives his memories we begin to wonder what is real and what isn't as he embarks on a journey to find answers.

Aidan, a young man crippled by loneliness and insecurity, wants nothing more than to experience love, but he compulsively ghosts any connections he makes through dating sites. Aidan's co-worker Elaine, generous with her advice and kindness to a fault, encourages him to put himself out there -- although, in her heart of hearts, she wishes he would pick up on her feelings for him.
Everything changes when Chelsea, beautiful and distant, moves into the apartment across the hall from Aidan's. The two feel an instant connection based on their refusal to engage in social norms, and bond over an unusual hobby. This chance encounter throws Aidan into a spiral of dangerous infatuation that will alter all three of their lives.
Touching on themes of loneliness, obsession, and the brutal nature of relationships, We Die Alone assesses the aftermath of what happens when three isolated people with different ideas of love become dangerously intertwined.
