"It’s Me” is a dark tale of a game that cannot be sustained.

Inspired by true events, The Interpreter follows a fledgling love triangle between Jacob, an American man seeking to date a Japanese woman, Hiromi, and Kaito, their Japanese-American interpreter in Tokyo, Japan. As Kaito tries his best to maintain his polite and professional boundaries as a hired third party, his genuine chemistry with Hiromi becomes harder for him to ignore. Bonding with Hiromi over cosplay in their native language feels more real to him than the flirty, but strained interactions Kaito has to connect between Jacob and Hiromi. As Kaito spends more time with the two, he starts to get the unsettling feeling that something is amiss. Someone is not who they seem to be and it is up to Kaito to forgo his backseat role and take action when he realizes manipulation, deceit and danger are in play.

THE INTERPRETER

Kaito, a Japanese American, is hired to be an interpreter between Jacob, an American, and Hiromi, a Japanese woman who begin to date after meeting online. While Kaito tries hard not to fall for Hiromi, tensions rise as Kaito begins to notice unsettling things the more time the three of them spend together.

Brian drifts through life, a computer monitor as his window to the world outside. He meets men online, remotes in to work, and FaceTimes with family, unable to connect meaningfully with the people on the other side of the screen. After an online encounter with the charming Dom, Brian is faced with an unusual request: a virtual sleepover. Brian succumbs to Dom’s proposition and is transported (then spooked) by the sweet hints of intimacy that permeate the screen. When Dom asks to meet in person, Brian conjures an alternate reality; one in which he shatters long-lived inhibitions to claim the touch of another person. Dom persists until Brian replies: a small step for man--with momentous implications.

After an unusual online encounter, a lonely man is challenged to step out from behind his computer screen and shatter long-lived inhibitions to claim the touch of another human being.

When Lana shows up at the Haven and meets Brint, Willa and the Family, she falls in love with their generosity, healing spirits, and indelible commitment to truthful art. Deeply attracted to the group’s dedication to the craft and to each other, Lana becomes a true devotee, living by the group’s strict guidelines and isolating herself from the “capitalist corruption of truth” as she seeks the ultimate artistic goal: finding her Voice.
But as the months tick by and new Family members arrive, Lana begins to lose control to her nightmares, reckoning with the hypocrisy of the world she inhabits: openness through exclusion, rehabilitation through addiction, care through abuse. And even as Lana is haunted by her world before the Haven, she must make a decision; either she can work toward finding her Voice among the Family, or she can remedy her hauntings and risk losing everything she's learned.

HAVEN

Haven is the story of a woman leaving her insular community to find her own voice.

Frustrated with her family life, Penelope yearns for the intimacy and tenderness that has disappeared from her marriage. Her dream of walking into a local lesbian nightclub and connecting with a woman with whom she can lose herself - finally comes true and she finds herself in a motel room with a beautiful lesbian. When it turns out that this woman is also married with children like herself, her fantasy is crushed. After some difficulty, they navigate their way to something wonderful together only to be confronted by reality when their tryst is discovered.
