‘Across the Quiet’ captures post-COVID reflections of Ordinary Elephant, the touring folk/Americana duo and couple based in South Louisiana. Crystal Hariu-Damore and Pete Damore’s stunning songwriting and musicianship have taken them to stages around the world, but the recording of their latest album kept them near home, inside the cypress walls of Dirk Powell's Breaux Bridge studio. Together, they explore the raw realities of making art in today's world, and the quiet resilience needed to keep creating.

When a touring band's vintage van breaks down on a remote highway, they transform their roadside misfortune into an intimate concert experience.

This is one song from a 9 song video album presented by Grand Nathaniel, based in an ever-evolving imaginary and mythological world.&nbsp; The dreamer is coaxed out of his comfortable world, and down into the vast expanse of the semi-known. Through the very beautiful inner forest, the "muse" teases with a fascinating bauble. Terrifying trees guard the borders, but the desire wins out. Into the first valley, bordered by the Hills Of Rind, and the muse throws the bauble endlessly far away down the long road. Red clouds roll in, and giant jackals threaten. In the White Forest, grab a glowing stone, and a fallen branch, and run with a fountain of foxfire in-hand. Time passes, faces change, make it out past the hills The sun turns green. All this time, friends are near, and they call up a beast of incredible size. The beast sacrifices itself to create brand new land to explore. But through a familiar door is the same place where it all began. The journey repeats....

LONELY WANDERER

A down-and-out and aging musician is pulled by a malicious entity into a vast, imaginary world.

The title single from Julie Odell’s latest EP, recorded in 2020 with producer, engineer, and director Tif “Teddy” Lamson, released in October 2025. Featuring cinematography and editing from Olivia Perillo, this collaborative experimental music video follows their collective awakenings through unprecedented times within deeply personal transformations. Using dawn to dusk as a metaphor for pace of change, caused not by one’s own choice, offers respect to the forces of nature that decide for us.

DISAPPEARING ACT

An abstract moving portrait of a lucid fever dream embraces the inevitable evolution of change, while portraying the moment of descent that dissects with recurrent memory, interwoven with the natural world of South Louisiana.

The story of the iconic electronic music group Yello and their cult classic 1980s hit song. Oh Yeah is one of the most recognizable songs of all time, made famous by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and embodies 80s American culture more than any other song. While not well known in the United States, the Swiss duo that founded Yello have been making avant-garde music and videos for over 45 years. This film explores the cultural phenomenon of Oh Yeah and its enduring place in the American psyche, while introducing the unique artists behind the music.
